Jeffrey Sevener, DDS
About
Since he was very young, Dr. Sevener has wanted to be a dentist. Today, he holds over 24 years of experience in the field, 7 of which he’s spent with us at Healthy Smiles Dental Care of Barton City. Since becoming a dentist, he’s always loved helping others maintain and improve their oral and overall health. Why Did You Want to
Become a Dentist?
Dr. Sevener is proud to be from Standish originally and has known that he wanted to become a dentist since he as in sixth grade. Despite working in the field for almost three decades, we’re happy that he shows no signs of slowing down and has been with our dental office for so many years!
Education
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
As a local native, Dr. Sevener graduated from the Standish-Sterling Central High School. He would then go on to pursue his undergraduate education at Alma College. From there, he attended the University of Detroit Mercy to earn his dental degree, completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency, and took his education a step further by focusing on dental implants and orthodontics after graduating.

What Do You Like to Do?
Today, Dr. Sevener is the proud father of two lovely children. Outside of the dental office, you’ll find him skiing, playing golf, and camping. One fact that some may not know about him is that he served in the U.S. Navy for 8 years.
